Classic and timeless colour palette. Well organized navigation. Great use of scrolling books (these scrolling boxes can sometimes be annoying but it's a nice treatment here). Videos of interviews with authors (especially cool when they feature videos right on the book's product page). Twitter updates. Lots going on, but packaged nicely and a pleasure to browse. For an extra design treat, check out the Book Club area - featuring a carousel wheel of books. Beautiful execution.

What we like: We love it when a traditionally offline brand transitions well to the web, and Penguin.ca is a good example of that.
