What we like: Stunningly beautiful. The sketch book draws its images before your very eyes…like magic! But seriously, it’s very cool. The overall design is great too, with interesting background images and a creative use of the comic book font. The portfolio section is a bit rough (looks like it’s being worked on). But the rest of the site more than makes up for it.
Great question Broacher. We typically look at the proportion of Flash used on the site. It comes down to a judgment call. It seems like almost every site these days uses at least a bit of Flash, so if it’s just used as an accent we don’t put it in the Flash category. With this site, there is obviously a heavy reliance on Flash, but also quite a bit of it done in HTML/CSS (it’s not a “full-Flash” site). So we put it in both categories.

Why does this site come up in the ‘non-Flash’ category?

Liam’s work is beautiful, pleasantly twisted and inspiring. The rest of his portfolio and personal musings attest to that.
